Cody Ford wins Professional Bull Riders RVT event in Reno
In his 10 th year as a professional bull rider, Cody Ford (Stanfeild, Oregon) earned his first win of the 2017 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) season, taking the event win in Reno, Nevada, at the Lawlor Events Center Saturday night. Ford was the only rider to cover both of his bulls and won the event after scores of 82.5 and 88.5 on Locomotive Exhaust (Hollister Bucking Bulls) and Uncle Fester (Humpz & Hornz) respectively. With the victory, he earned 80 points toward the PBR world standings and $7,900. Winners of each RVT event in 2017 will be guaranteed at least one opportunity to compete at a PBR Built Ford Tough Series regular-season event. With his victory in Reno, Ford will compete at the St. Louis Invitational in St. Louis, Missouri, Feb. 24-26.
