Equest to Offer Horsemanship 101 Workshop Free to Veterans   Equest’s Hooves for Heroes veterans’ program is hosting a day of Horsemanship 101 for veterans, active duty military members, and their families for free on Sunday, December 8 th from 1 PM to 4 PM at Equest at Texas Horse Park 811 Pemberton Hill Road, #4, Dallas, Texas, 75217.   Registration is required through : https://www.equest.org/events/free-h101-for-veterans-active-duty-military-their-families . The day of H101 is designed to let participants sample different programs that Equest offers.               2020 New Year New Me, Or Not?  Have you made your annual new years resolution that  continues in failure? 2020 is upon us so don't waist your  time and energy on another busted resolution because it's January. Anytime  is the right time to become more healthy and fit.    To break this down here is the reason about ninety percent of   you will not succeed. To much too soon, your fitness is not  something you want to bust out full speed ahead.  The first muscle you have to work on is your mind, if you can't get your mind on board than it's a loosing battle. Until you decide  you want to change your life it will not happen.  To ramble on about my story will give you a little perspective  on how I got rolling. I spend my entire life working out, playing  sports and rodeo. Once I left the arena everything slowed down  and in a few years I was at 175 lbs then a few more years pushing 240 lbs!                           * UPDATE *              THEY HAVE BEEN FOUND        Reward offered for info on stolen Jefferson county cattle   Special Ranger John Bradshaw of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA) is seeking information on 78 yearling steers stolen from a ranch in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. The cattle went missing between 5 p.m. Nov. 24 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 25.  According to Bradshaw, the mixed-breed steers weigh approximately 600 pounds and carry a 7 brand on the left hip. They were stolen from cattle pens off FM 89, south of Ringling. Operation Cow Thief , an anti-theft initiative led by TSCRA, is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest or indictment of the person or persons responsible for the crime. Trevor Brazile captures seventh Steer Roping gold buckle

      More history was made by legendary cowboy Trevor Brazile on Saturday night.           Brazile, the most-decorated cowboy in PRCA history, added another chapter to his story-book career. The Decatur, Texas, cowboy won his record 25th gold buckle by capturing the title at the 2019 Clem McSpadden National Finals Steer Roping at the Kansas Star Arena. Brazile finished with $128,552 in the PRCA | RAM World Standings to edge runner-up Vin Fisher Jr.’s $120,834. “We were in a battle, and I wanted to do whatever it took to win here,” said Brazile, 43. “All the gold buckles are special. This one was really cool because I was able to stay home because the steer roping schedule fit the new lifestyle I have chosen.” Just before the start of the 2018 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, Brazile announced that season was going to be the final one for him rodeoing full time so he could spend more time with his family – wife, Shada; son, Treston, 11; and daughters
