US TRADE REP NOTIFIES CONGRESS OF INTENTION TO NEGOTIATE TRADE AGREEMENTS WITH JAPAN, EU AND UK

U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer notified Congress Oct. 16 that the Trump Administration intends to negotiate three separate trade agreements with Japan, the European Union and the United Kingdom. “Under President Trump’s leadership, we will continue to expand U.S. trade and investment by negotiating trade agreements with Japan, the EU and the United Kingdom,” said Lighthizer. “Today’s announcement is an important milestone in that process. World No. 1 Kaique Pacheco finishes third and continues to outpace the competition In only his sixth PBR (Professional Bull Riders) premier series event of the season, seven-year veteran  Matt Triplett  earned his first win of the year at the 25 th  PBR: Unleash The Beast, Cooper Tires Take the Money and Ride at Greensboro Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. Triplett was second on the weekend going into the championship round and with a score 85.75 points became just the second man to go 3-for-3 during the two-day event. Triplett began the night by riding  Dang It  (Davis Rodeo Ranch/Fogle) for 86.5 points before conquering  Hart Breaker  (Davis Rodeo Inc.) in the championship round. The victory helped the Montana cowboy surge from No. 23 in the PBR world standings to No. 15. He earned 555 world points along with $37,200. RODEO AUSTIN GALA AND YOUTH ART AUCTION ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCED

Rodeo Austin is excited to announce that Jamey Johnson with special guest Lee Ann Womack will headline the 2019 Rodeo Austin Gala and Youth Art Auction. The annual Rodeo Austin Gala and Youth Art Auction, presented by Texas Mutual Insurance Company, will be held Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Palmer Events Center. One of Austin’s most phenomenal events, the night will include gourmet food, cocktails, a live and silent auction and live music. This event serves as the largest fundraiser for Rodeo Austin outside of the Fair and Rodeo in March.  Johnson is an eleven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter. His 2008 album, That Lonesome Song, was certified platinum and his 2010 double album, The Guitar Song, received a gold certification. PRCA | 2018 AQHA Horses of the Year Announced

It is known that the equine athletes in the sport of rodeo play a vital role in helping every competitor achieve his or her goals.  The PRCA and the American Quarter Horse Association honor the outstanding registered American Quarter Horse in each of the PRCA's timed-event categories at the annual PRCA Awards Banquet in Las Vegas before the start of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. The owner of the PRCA/AQHA/WPRA "Horses of the Year" in each category will be awarded $5,000 and an AQHA bronze trophy. Second place will receive $3,000, and third place will receive $2,000.
