Most of the horses competing in the hackamore class got spooked by the  Yellowstone banner on the fence. Many of the horse got low or no score, so  the show officials wanted to take it down and give the riders a do over.....  Banner stayed up and Taylor Sheridan (one of the creators of Yellowstone) who is at the show doing some filming announced that the banner would stay up and he would pay the first-place money to all the competitors in the class. That is $13K each for a total of $181,000.00 is that good marketing or rewarding failure?
