 With only 492.5 points separating the top five riders, the 2017 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals are sure to be an intense and pressure-packed competition, with a number of riders eyeing the gold buckle and $1 million bonus at the at the T-Mobile Arena in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, Nov. 1-5. Reigning PRCA World Champion Sage Kimzey wins PBR Velocity Finals and Earns First-ever Invite to World Finals

Brazilian Alex Marcilio wins Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour Title  As the dirt settled at South Point Arena  Monday  night, it was reigning PRCA champion bull rider  Sage Kimzey  (Weatherford, Oklahoma) who arose victorious as the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) Finals event winner. Sage Kimzey Kimzey, who vowed he would not come to Las Vegas to finish in second place, claimed his win aboard  Vegas Lights  (A Bulls) for 88 points in the championship round, capping off a 4-for-4 weekend. His earnings for the event totaled $26,300, and he accumulated 340 world standings points. The three-time champion earned his ticket to the PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals to join an already hotly contested world title race in which the top five riders are separated by a mere 492.5 points. Brazilian Luciano De Castro claims the Round 2 win     2016 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Rookie of the Year   Jess Lockwood   (Volborg, Montana) took the event lead at the Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour (RVT) Finals at South Point Arena on Sunday night.    Sitting 2-for-2, Lockwood goes into the final round  on Monday  leading the event overall. The 20-year-old Montana man is ranked fifth in the world and is closing the gap between himself and PBR world leader  Derek Kolbaba  (Walla Walla, Washington). The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture note what's needed in a  modernized agreement The North American Free Trade Agreement has been in the news a lot lately with new negotiations underway with an eye toward tweaking the 23-year-old program. The PRCA is pleased to announce that it is partnering with the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association and Northlands Coliseum to offer a livestream broadcast of the 44th Canadian Finals Rodeo on ProRodeoTV.             The Nov. 8-12 CFR will be exclusively broadcasted from Edmonton, Alberta, on ProRodeoTV.com. City of Dallas and Equest Welcomed Student Veterans of America 2017 Leadership Institute Cohort for an afternoon of Volunteerism and Partnership  Shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, and saws were the tools used in the gloved hands of student veteran leaders to build comradery, leadership skills, and teamwork.   The City of Dallas and Equest hosted a select group from Student Veterans of America (SVA) on Oct. 19 for an afternoon of service work at the Texas Horse Park. The one hundred student veterans from throughout the U.S., from as far away as Hawaii, Washington, and New Jersey, cleared trails, trimmed trees, installed a sensory riding course, and other additional activities.
