There is humility from the voice of a man who has grown up with rodeo and ranching. His father Robert and uncle Billy are ProRodeo Hall of Fame saddle bronc riders. Etbauer followed that path originally, showing promise, but injuries took him down a different road nearly a decade ago. He is a steer wrestler, and at 37, he aged like Benjamin Button this season. The respected cowboy won the Sheriff's PRCA Rodeo in San Bernardino, Calif., posting a 3.4 second time for $2,400 in prize money. After spurring Sankey ProRodeo & Phenom Genetics' Black Tie for 90 points during the short round of the 2022 Round-Up to clinch the championship, Wanchuk's profile could add a couple of exclamation points to that statement. ** MEDIA RELEASE ** Shad "Money" Mayfield captures title at Cinch Playoffs    The superstar tie-down roper clocked an 8.8-second time to win the final four sudden-death round.   "Luckily I knew the first guy (Blane Cox) broke the barrier and the second guy (John Douch) missed, so after that I knew I just had to make the best run I could and let it fall into place," Mayfield said.
