The British actress Helen McCrory, has passed away.

 The British actress Helen McCrory who I watched recently on Peaky Blinders plays the character Polly Gray, has died. Her husband Damian Lewis announced on today. She has lost her battle with cancer at only 52 years young.

“I’m heartbroken to announce that after a heroic battle with cancer, the beautiful and mighty woman that is Helen McCrory has died peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family. She died as she lived. Fearlessly. God we love her and know how lucky we are to have had her in our lives. She blazed so brightly. Go now, Little One, into the air, and thank you,” Damian Lewis wrote on Twitter on Friday.

She studied acting at the Drama Centre in London England and in 1994 she mad her film acting debut in Interview with The Vampire. Over the years she has been in many successful such as; Harry Potter, Skyfall, and The Queen. Recent TV roles in Penny Dreadful and Peaky Blinders which is in process of filming a new season.
