You Ride You Must Be A Horse Trainer?

There is a huge misconception about who are horse trainers and there are a few thing you should consider when in need of training. Just because someone rides a horse does not make them a trainer. You can drive a car just fine but can you build a car, fix a car, or diagnose issues?

Summer time is coming and people are gonna start saddling up their pasture art and hitting the trails. If you have not rode your horse in months and he acts up a little when you saddle up, it's because he is not ready to be off vacation.

With the addition of social media it's very easy to become stupid real fast. We have lost the ability to do any research and blindly follow whatever is shared online. It's happening from farming, rodeo, and of course in politics.

There are a couple things you need to think about when is comes riding horses and trainers.

1. Be honest about your riding experience, it's often that people buy a horse above their riding level and blame the horse.

2. What do you do with your horse; are you a trail rider, showman, or a weekend competitor? you want to be matched with a horse that suits you discipline and riding level.

3. RESEARCH the more you know the better off you will be.

When looking to buy a horse find out what you can about the horse. If you are not sure or experienced enough to look the horse over find reputable trainer to go look at the horse with you.

4. Finding a trainer is easy as a google search, but finding a good takes a little more time. Once you find a trainer your interested in
put on your investigation hat and do your homework. You need to make sure that the trainer you choose has the knowledge and experience that you feel comfortable with.

I'm not sure how many times I have to say the word research, but if you don't do it you could be tossing your money out the window. You get what you pay for so take the time and get it right.

When it comes to trainers and horse you have to make sure you get the best fit for you and your experience level or else you could be laid up the hospital or six feet under.

Horses are not robots they have quirks, hitches, bad days and could spook sometimes. That's just part of it, if you've never fallen of a horse then you haven't been riding long enough.
