PBR Velocity Tour Finds Broadcast Home on RIDET TV

PBR’s fastest growing series comes to television for the first time.

Ride Television Network, Inc. (RIDE TV) welcomes the PBR’s (Professional Bull Riders) Velocity Tour to RIDE TV in 2019. As PBR’s top expansion tour and fastest-growing series, the PBR Velocity Tour will be broadcast on television for the first time via RIDE TV, a sports and lifestyle television network with an equestrian focus.

“As PBR's media presence continues to grow worldwide, and we expand this very successful four-year-old tour, we are thrilled with this partnership to bring more PBR to more of our fans,” said Sean Gleason, CEO of PBR. “Carrying the Velocity Tour to RIDE TV's passionate viewers creates another opportunity to tell more stories about the incredible cowboy and bovine athletes of the PBR."

PBR will produce these broadcasts in association with RIDE TV. RIDE TV will air 40 (forty) one-hour highlight shows of the PBR Velocity Tour events in prime time on the network each week for both the 2019 and 2020 seasons. This is the largest sports rights deal in RIDE TV history.

“Bringing the [PBR] Velocity Tour to RIDE TV is one of our biggest accomplishments to date,” said Craig Morris, President of RIDE TV. “Our goal in broadcasting the PBR Velocity Tour highlights is to bring our fans destination anchor programming, and there is no one better to partner with than the leaders in professional bull riding – the PBR.”

The partnership will make more announcements regarding rolling out the series to the network’s 60 million homes as the 2019 season approaches, including who we can expect to be hosting the series. To see everywhere that RIDE TV is available, visit www.RIDETV.com/Watch.        ~ PBR Media
