Ahead of the second iteration of Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo in Arlington, Texas, on May 16, 2025, the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and Kid Rock today announced the star-studded lineup of rodeo royalty who will form five of the six competing rosters in the landmark team rodeo event mashed into a Kid Rock concert.

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo will again launch the biggest weekend in Western sports, proceeded by the PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship on May 17-18. Three-day ticket packages are on-sale now, and single-day tickets will be available on Monday, December 9 at 10 a.m. CT through PBR.com/WorldFinals and SeatGeek.com.

The drafted athletes include the most talented athletes to ever compete on dirt. Collectively they have earned 57 World Championships in the PRCA (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) and WPRA (Women's Professional Rodeo Association), 41 aggregate wins and more than 470 qualifications to the National Finals Rodeo (NFR), while amassing more than $100 million in career earnings.

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo is a reimagined rodeo produced by PBR in partnership with Kid Rock. Six teams, each led by a legendary rodeo head coach, will compete head-to-head in bracket-style competition across barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and breakaway roping at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on May 16. Within the new team-formatted rodeo, Kid Rock will perform LIVE in concert.

Five of the six teams, Convoy, Jokers, Low Riders, Misty Mountain Hop and Sledge Hammers, will feature one returning member per discipline from the 2024 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. The second open position in each discipline was filled via a draft recently held in November.

The rosters for the teams are:

Convoy (Head Coach Cody Ohl and Assistant Coach Saylor Ohl)

  • Bareback Riding: Dean Thompson and Kade Sonnier
  • Barrel Racing: Stevi Hillman and Jordon Briggs
  • Breakaway Roping: Shelby Boisjoli-Meged and Macy Auclair
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Kade Bruno and Layton Green
  • Steer Wrestling: Jesse Brown and Dirk Tavenner
  • Tie-Down Roping: Riley Webb and Blane Cox
  • Team Roping: Dustin Egusquiza (Header)/Levi Lord (Heeler) and Clay Smith (Header)/Coleby Payne (Heeler)

Convoy will again be led by the father-daughter coaching duo of Cody and Saylor Ohl. In 2024, Convoy earned three medals in the opening round of Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, collecting silver in the steer wrestling via Jesse Brown’s 5-second run, silver in the tie-down roping courtesy of Riley Webb’s on-dirt efforts, and bronze in the saddle bronc riding via a 79.5-point ride from Layton Green, all of whom will return to the squad for 2025. In a Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo first, Convoy’s breakaway roster will be all-Canadian, as 2023 World Champion Shelby Boisjoli-Meged will return alongside Macy Auclair who will make her debut at the team-formatted event. Auclair, however, is no stranger to Ohl’s coaching. The legend was crucial in Auclair’s recent success at the Canadian Finals Rodeo, winning both the aggregate and Canadian Championship in breakaway roping. Auclair is one of three Convoy riders making their Kid Rock’ Rock N Rodeo debut in 2025, joined by 2021 World Champion barrel racer Jordon Briggs and two-time NFR qualifying tie-down roper Blane Cox.

Jokers (Co-Head Coach Sid Steiner and Co-Head Coach Joe Beaver)

  • Bareback Riding: Rocker Steiner and Tim O’Connell
  • Barrel Racing: Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi and Steely Steiner
  • Breakaway Roping: Cheyanne McCartney and Madison Outhier
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Wyatt Casper and Brody Cress
  • Steer Wrestling: Dakota Eldridge and JD Struxness
  • Tie-Down Roping: Haven Meged and John Douch
  • Team Roping: Chad Masters (Header)/Cory Petska (Heeler) and Colby Lovell (Header)/Jade Corkill (Heeler)

After serving as the team’s Assistant Coach in 2025, Joe Beaver will join Sid Steiner as Co-Head Coaches of the Jokers, who won five medals during Round 1 of the 2024 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. Steiner and Beaver will lead an accomplished squad of athletes who hold 13 World Championships, 18 NFR aggregate wins and 123 NFR qualifications.  Saddle bronc rider Wyatt Casper will return to defend his gold medal for the Jokers, and breakaway roper Cheyanne McCartney her silver. Four athletes will make their debut at the team-formatted rodeo for the Jokers in 2025. The contingent is led by renowned breakaway roper Madison Outhier who continues to recover from her grisly injury sustained in July 2024 at Days of ’47.

Low Riders (Head Coach Trevor Brazile and Assistant Coach Dale Brisby)

  • Bareback Riding: Jacob Lees and Jess Pope
  • Barrel Racing: Sherry Cervi and Carlee Otero
  • Breakaway Roping: Kelsie Chace Domer and Josie Conner
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Chase Brooks and Sage Newman
  • Steer Wrestling: Tyler Pearson and Kyle Irwin
  • Tie-Down Roping: Tuf Cooper and Shane Hanchey
  • Team Roping: Clint Summers (Header)/Jake Long (Heeler) and Tyler Wade (Header)/Wesley Thorp (Heeler)

After winning just one gold medal during Round 1 of the inaugural Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, the Trevor Brazile-led Low Riders will be keen to rebound inside AT&T Stadium in 2025. Boasting a veteran roster, collectively the Low Riders hold 23 World Championships, 12 NFR aggregate wins and 124 FNR qualifications. The contingent is anchored by four-time World Champion tie-down roper Tuf Cooper who topped his discipline in the rodeo’s opening round last season with a blazing fast 8.6-second run. Cooper will be joined by three athletes making their Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo debut, including four-time NFR qualifying barrel racer Carlee Otero, six-time NFR qualifying saddle bronc rider Chase Brooks and three-time NFR qualifying breakaway roper Josie Conner. Via the draft, Low Riders added six World Championship titles to their roster, welcoming 2013 World Champion tie-down roper Shane Hanchey and 2022 World Champion bareback rider Jess Poper from the Jokers, and the team roping duo of 2023 World Champion header Tyler Wade and two-time World Champion heeler Wasley Thorp from Misty Mountain Hop.

Misty Mountain Hop (Head Coach Charmayne James and Assistant Coach Justin McKee)

  • Bareback Riding: Cole Reiner and Mason Clements
  • Barrel Racing: Wenda Johnson and LaTricia Duke
  • Breakaway Roping: Danielle Lowman and Jordan Jo Hollabaugh
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Statler Wright and Lefty Holman
  • Steer Wrestling: Tyler Waguespack and Stetson Jorgensen
  • Tie-Down Roping: Caleb Smidt and Ty Harris
  • Team Roping: Kaleb Driggers (Header)/Junior Nogueira (Heeler) and Coleman Proctor (Header)/Logan Medlin (Heeler)

Misty Mountain Hop will return hungry for vengeance after narrowly being edged by the Free Riders by one discipline to win the inaugural Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. Holding 14 World Championships, seven NFR aggregate wins and 93 NFR qualifications, Misty Mountain Hop is one of the most decorated teams. Their roster returns five-time World Champion steer wrestler Tyler Waguespack, World Champion team roping duo Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira and four-time World Champion tie-down roper Caleb Smidt, all who rode to victory for Misty Mountain Hop last season in the Championship Round of Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. Via their draft selections, Misty Mountain Hop welcomes three new competitors for 2025, including tie-down roper Ty Harris and team ropers Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin, who rode for Convoy and Sledge Hammers, respectively, in 2024.

Sledge Hammers (Head Coach Fred Whitfield and Assistant Coach Curtis Pederson)

  • Bareback Riding: Tanner Aus and Leighton Berry
  • Barrel Racing: Ashley Castleberry and Stephanie Fryar
  • Breakaway Roping: Taylor Munsell and Martha Angelone
  • Saddle Bronc Riding: Dawson Hay and Damian Brennan
  • Steer Wrestling: Dalton Massey and Justin Shaffer
  • Tie-Down Roping: Shad Mayfield and Riley Pruitt
  • Team Roping: Tanner Tomlinson (Header)/Travis Graves (Heeler) and Cody Snow (Header)/Hunter Koch (Heeler)

The Sledge Hammers roster will be led by four-time NFR qualifying breakaway roper Taylor Munsell who won the team’s lone discipline gold medal at the 2024 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. Bareback rider Tanner Aus (bronze) and barrel racer Ashley Castleberry (silver) will also return keen to add more meals to the Sledge Hammers’ trophy case. During the draft, the Sledge Hammers selected four athletes who previously rode for the Low Riders, combining for 21 of the team’s 70 NFR qualifications and adding one of the team’s two World Championship titles. These athletes are: four-time NFR qualifying bareback rider Tanner Aus, who won his discipline bronze last season; eight-time NFR qualifying header Cody Snow and four-time NFR qualifying heeler Hunter Kock, who finished fourth in their discipline in 2024; and 2022 World Champion breakaway roper Martha Angelone. Making his Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo debut for the Sledge Hammers in 2025, saddle bronc rider Damian Brennan will make history as the first Australian to ride at the event.

On January 23, the Convoy, Jokers, Low Riders, Misty Mountain Hop and Sledge Hammers will compete at the first-ever Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo Qualifier held in Fort Worth, Texas, at Dickies Arena in tandem with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo for $100,000. In addition to vying for their share of the Qualifier’s purse, during this one-day event, these five teams will compete for their overall seed for the forthcoming and highly anticipated Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo on May 16 at AT&T Stadium.

The final team for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, the Free Riders, led by Head Coach Bobby Mote and Assistant Coach Linsay Rosser-Sumpter, will be formed following conclusion of the WCRA’s (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) Rodeo Corpus Christi on May 10 in Corpus Christi, Texas. The top two finishers in each discipline at the event, not already selected by a team, will join the Free Riders. For more information on Rodeo Corpus Christi, visit wcrarodeo.com.

At the first-ever Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo last May, the Free Riders rode lights out, winning three gold medals in Round 1 before cementing their title as champions by winning four of the disciplines in the championship round. By of their win, the Free Riders will have the No. 1 seed at the 2025 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo.

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo will begin on Friday, May 16 at 7 p.m. CT inside AT&T Stadium. When the dust settles on the historic event, the famed venue will then host the PBR World Finals – Championship on Saturday, May 17 at 7:45 p.m. CT and Sunday, May 18 at 1:45 p.m. CT, when the 2025 PBR World Champion will be crowned, earning the accompanying $1 million bonus and coveted gold buckle.
