Farmer Trolls TIKTOK viewers

"Common Sense" is not as common as it used to be..

With all the TIKTOK trends, viral videos, and manipulated content common sense has become scarce. When a farmer decided to troll TIKTOK it blew up way more than expected, especially when a few more farmers hopped in on the joke.

It all started when TikTok user @neflyinfarmer of Nebraska posted letter from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) on the screen over the letter the words: "Letter to destroy crops came yesterday." In the video he claim he received two binders explaining in detail how to properly destroy his crops.
If you take a hard look at the letter it clearly show the date August 2018. The date was noticed by a few viewers who pointed it out, his response was yes it's just joke.

A few other farmers who actually got the joke decided to play along to see what would happen. A few farmers turned into many farmers  and they had no idea what kind of social media storm they were about to create.

After speaking with the USDA office they have been fielding calls in reference to the fictitious government program that pays you to destroy your crops.  At this time there is no such program or everyones new favorite word "mandate" out there.

What makes this seem believable to some is because during the shutdowns in the early days of the pandemic restaurants were closed so there was no buyers for the produce and milk. During that time there were some farms that had product that was never purchased. Many farm donated as much of  the produce and milk as they could to keep it from going to waste.

If you have watched my talk show before you have heard me stress to the viewers Do The Research Before You Share or Pass On Information. "Google Is Your Friend" Look it up from a few sources there is already enough misinformation out there for you to add flames to the fire.

Creators on the app TIKTOK shoot random videos on the fly and some spend hours shooting and editing these video to trick the eye. Don't believe everything you see on the internet and you'll be better off.   - Pepper Stewart
