WOMEN’S RODEO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP RELOCATED TO TEXAS WITH CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND BEING FEATURED DURING PBR WORLD FINALS

-Champions To Be Crowned In AT&T Stadium With Qualifying Rounds Held In Will Rogers Memorial Center-   WCRA   (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) and PBR (Professional Bull Riders) today announced that the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will be relocated from Las Vegas to Fort Worth, Texas due to COVID-19 restrictions in the State of Nevada.  The $750,000 event paying equal money in all disciplines will be hosted November 8-12 (qualifying rounds) at the Will Rogers Memorial Center with the final six from each of the four disciplines competing at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas alongside the PBR World Finals in the Championship Round November 13-15.   According to WCRA President Bobby Mote; every effort was exhausted to keep the event in Las Vegas but due to the state’s COVID restrictions for live events the organization was unable to proceed with confidence.   “Fortunately, this particular relocation is a huge game changer allowing the championship round...

  2021 PBR Global Cup USA Moves to Las Vegas   The 2020 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) World Finals: Unleash The Beast will be held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, November 12-15, it was announced today.   The richest and most prestigious event in bull riding, which offers a $1 million Monster Energy World Champion Bonus and coveted gold buckle to the PBR World Champion and a $300,000 check to the event winner, had originally been scheduled for T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas November 4-8 and has been moved due to state COVID-19 (coronavirus) restrictions.   Additionally, the next PBR Global Cup, a five-nation, team-formatted event, which was to be held at AT&T Stadium in 2021, will relocate to Las Vegas in the spring of 2021. Team Event on Iconic Aircraft Carrier to Support Military Charities, The First In A New Series of Annual Bull Riding Fundraisers PBR (Professional Bull Riders) has announced a first-of-its kind event, the   PBR Air Force Reserve Cowboys for a Cause , which will take place on the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, Texas and be broadcast on CBS Television Network Saturday, December 5 at 12:00 pm ET / 11:00 am CT. The special event will also be covered on CBS Sports Network pre-shows on Friday night and Saturday in the lead-up.  PBR Air Force Reserve Cowboys for a Cause   is an invitational team event featuring five teams of three cowboys, riding to support military members and their families through a new charity initiative.  2020 "World Series Of Rodeo" returns to North Texas   When building a massive stadium you are always open to other grand events and this time  Globe Life Field laned a big one. This will be home to the 2020 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in which many fans have wanted to see back since the National Finals Rodeo moved in 1962.  The first NFR was held in Dallas, Texas in 1959 then moved to Los Angeles, California in 1962. Staying on the move the NFR landed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma until leaving for Las Vegas, Nevada in 1985 when is has been since.  This is the opportunity for many rodeo fan's who can't make the trek to Vegas can catch some live National Finals Rodeo action for their first time. Globe Life Field has a seating capacity of a little over 40K seats compared  to 17K in Vegas. Texas  Covid rules allow a capacity of 50% which give Globe Life Field more seating than a sellout crown in Las Vega...

Professional Rodeo Cowboys to compete in front of Yellowstone cast

MEDIA RELEASE  The cast of the hit TV show  Yellowstone , which airs on Paramount Network, will get an up-close look at some of the best Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) bareback riders at the Yellowstone Riggin Rally, Sept. 7. This $30,000, one-day event will pit the top 24 bareback riders in the PRCA | RAM World Standings in a long-go and short-go format in front of the  Yellowstone  cast on Labor Day, giving competitors the chance to compete in Darby, Mont., where some of the show is filmed. “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” PRCA CEO George Taylor said. “These cowboys get to perform for the cast and crew of one of TV’s most popular shows, while in turn having a chance to make significant strides in qualifying for the Wrangler NFR.” The cast, which has been put in a bubble of sorts during shooting for the fourth season, will see PRCA bareback riders who’ve competed in past National Finals Rodeos and some who are headed t...
