Tyler Bingham Hangs On to Win Casa Ford Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding

Casa Ford Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding presented by Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino      Tuff Hedeman returned to his hometown to celebrate the 75 th   Anniversary of the El Paso County Coliseum with his signature style two hour action packed invitational bull riding which kept fans and the World Champion athletes on the edge of their seats as the four-time World Champion and pro rodeo Hall of Famer delivered on his local promise of bringing what he knows the fans want to see – great bull rides and high scores.  At the end of the night in El Paso it was two Utah cowboy bull riding brothers, Tim and Tyler Bingham who battled it out for the win and in the driver’s seat was Tyler Bingham, who had the fans ecstatic as he literally hung on to the side of 169 Crimson King (Melton Bull Co) in the final Shoot Out round and took home the bulk of the $30,000 prize money, a new pair of Lucchese boots, a Resistol western hat and the first Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding...

The American Dream Comes True for Three Qualifiers Who Split The Million Dollar Purse at RFD-TV’S The American presented by DISH

The home of the Dallas Cowboys became home to the world’s best cowboys and cowgirls today, Sunday, Feb. 25, as turf turned into dirt for the world’s richest one-day rodeo.  RFD-TV’s The American, Presented by DISH  payed-out $2 million dollars to the best athletes in PRCA, PBR and WPRA, and those who earned their spot as a qualifier, making the American dream come true for three athletes who advanced out of the semi-finals to split the million dollar purse.  Four-time PRCA world champion Kaycee Feild, six-time world champion steer wrestler Matt Reeves and ERA champion Cort Scheer all three took home $433,333 checks to split the million dollar prize as competitors who advanced from the semi-finals. TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY DEBUTS INTERNATIONAL BEEF ACADEMY Applications for the inaugural Texas A&M University International Beef Academy are being accepted. The academy, available exclusively online, will begin in September and continue through July 2019. “The International Beef Academy will offer an exclusive, customized and advanced learning experience tailored to the educational and professional needs of each participant,” said Dr. Reinaldo Cooke, associate professor in the department of animal science at Texas A&M University in College Station. “Participants will have access to emerging technologies in cattle reproduction, nutrition, genetics, health and welfare related to all phases of beef production, including cutting-edge practices for the quality and safety of beef products.” The academy will be limited to 30 students and applications will be screened for selection.
