  The Texas Department of Agriculture is warning of an equine virus outbreak linked to an event in Central Texas. ** MEDIA RELEASE ** The department issued an alert to horsemen regarding an outbreak of Equine Herpesvirus Type 1 (EHV-1) reported by veterinarians after the recent World Championship Barrel Racing (WPRA) Finals in the Waco area Nov. 5-9 2025. Officials are asking horse owners, trainers, or venue operators who attended or were in proximity to the event to monitor their animals carefully. Paramount+ to Become Streaming Home of PBR Unleash The Beast Paramount and Professional Bull Riders (PBR) today announced a new five-year media rights agreement that will make Paramount+ the primary streaming home of PBR’s premier tour,  Unleash The Beast , starting in the 2026 season beginning December 12. Under the agreement, for the first time ever, Paramount+ will stream live coverage of the full  PBR Unleash The Beast  (UTB) season – the highest level of individual bull riding competition spanning five months in 19 cities across 17 states. The partnership builds on the long-standing relationship between PBR and CBS Sports, which began in 2013 and runs through 2030.
