  WRWC ANNOUNCES 2024 QUALIFIER SERIES EVENTS The Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) recently announced its Qualifying Series Events for the 2024 season. The first event will be held during the 2024 Cowgirl Gathering on May 14-16 in Fort Worth, Texas. The series will have eight dedicated stops to team roping, breakaway roping, and barrel racing. Each event will include a challenger and pro classification. Qualifiers will begin in mid-May 2023 and conclude with its final qualifier in Amarillo, Texas, at the Amarillo All Girl on March 16, 2024.   The $750,000 WRWC is the richest women’s rodeo of all time. The event has paid out $2.25 million to women rodeo athletes since 2020.   Athletes can earn a generic qualification to the 2024 WRWC by participating in Qualifier Series events.  The Qualifier Series is a string of events held before the 2024 WRWC where athletes who nominate and place in the top spot in their respected discipline at the qualifier will earn a generic qualification
